それによると、Apple CEOがCNBCのインタビューに答え、Apple Intelligence対応国でのiPhoneの売上は好調であると説明しています
Apple CEOはCNBCのインタビューで次のように答えています
『iPhone sales have been strong in countries where Apple Intelligence is available. Currently, the software is only available in some English-speaking countries and not in China or Chinese.During the December quarter, year-over-year performance of the iPhone 16 family in markets where Apple Intelligence was deployed was more performing better than in markets that did not deploy Apple Intelligence(日本語訳：アップル・インテリジェンスが利用できる国ではiPhoneの売れ行きが好調だ。現在、このソフトウェアは一部の英語圏でのみ利用可能で、中国や中国語では利用できない。12月の四半期中、Apple Intelligenceを展開した市場では、iPhone 16ファミリーの前年比実績が、Apple Intelligenceを展開していない市場よりも好調である)』
Apple Intelligenceは、いわいる中国語圏で使うことができず、中国政府や中国の規制当局などからのガードが根強く、Appleは中国本土などでApple Intelligenceを使えずにいる。しかし、中国・DeepSeekの登場で状況が変わっており、中国政府や規制当局がApple Intelligenceの使用を条件付きで許可する可能性が高く、今後の展開次第では、中国本土などでApple Intelligenceが使えるようになると見られます
